2. Appear for IBSAT 2025 – A two-hour online test assessing quantitative, analytical, and verbal skills.

   • Exemptions: Valid CAT, XAT, NMAT, or GMAT™ scores (2023 onward).

3. Selection Process (Feb 2026) – Shortlisted candidates attend Micro Presentation and Personal Interview at IBS Hyderabad.

Vivek Modi | Class of 1998 | IBS Ahmedabad

Vivek Modi graduated from IBS Ahmedabad in 1998. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering in 1994. In 1998, he became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Vivek has worked with Tata Elxsi Ltd. as a Senior Product Manager and with Real Image Media Technologies Pvt. Ltd. He is currently the General Manager at Reliance Entertainment.

Q. What programs are offered by IBS?

IBS offers the following programs:

• 2-year full-time MBA – IBS Hyderabad, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur, IBS Bangalore (off-campus of IFHE Hyderabad)

• 2-year full-time PGPM (Postgraduate Program in Management) – IBS Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune

• 3-year Ph.D. program (Full-time / For working executives) – IBS Hyderabad, IBS Bangalore

Q. What is the eligibility criteria?

MBA / PGPM Programs

• Graduation in any discipline with 50% or above, with English as the medium of instruction.

• Minimum 15 years of education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4). Aggregate marks of all subjects across all years are considered.

• Candidates without English-medium graduation must submit TOEFL/NELT/IELTS scores by May 31, 2026.

• Final-year students can apply if they complete graduation before May 31, 2026. Proof of graduation must be submitted by November 1, 2026.

• Eligibility will be verified from August 2026 onwards. Inaccurate or misleading information may lead to withdrawal of admission.

Ph.D. Program (Full-time / Working Executives)

• Graduation with 50% or above in any discipline and English-medium instruction.

• Post-graduation in Management (Marketing/Finance/HR/Operations) or allied disciplines with 55% or above.

• Professional qualifications like CFA/CA/CWA/CS with 55% or above are also eligible.

• Minimum 17 years of education (10+2+3+2 or 10+2+4+2).

• Non-English medium graduates must submit TOEFL/NELT/IELTS scores by May 31, 2026.

• First-year MBA courses may be required as a prerequisite for continuation in the Ph.D. program.

Q. How to apply for MBA / PGPM programs?

• Appear for IBSAT 2025 (Dec 27–28, 2025), or submit valid scores from GMAT™/CAT/NMAT/XAT (2023 onwards).

• Applying via IBSAT makes you eligible for a ₹2 lakh scholarship.

• All applicants must fill the IBSAT 2025 application form.
